I’ll say it again. Write the book.
I didn’t say, “Edit the book.” I didn’t say, “Market the book.” I didn’t say, “Make sure your social media followers know about your book.”
Write your book.
I didn’t even say, “Make sure you have enough followers on social media for publishers to take a chance on your book.”
Before your book can be published, it needs to be written.
You can go about the writing process any number of ways—outlining, free writing, researching first, researching later—but the main thing is this:
Write your book.
Even 100 words written today that you didn’t have written yesterday is progress to be proud of. Even if those 100 words end up on the cutting room floor at a later date—those words are progress today. You’ll never know if they need to be chopped if you never write them.
So write your book.
I’m gonna take my own advice and go write my book.
Leave a comment here with how much progress you made on your book today, and I’ll do the same:
In this with you!
Thanks for reading!
